Dedication to my Shepherd

I thank God for this brother and shepherd. His love shows me Jesus' love. I am so affirmed that Jesus lives in us. He is the inspiration to bring my heart to God. Learning his life is a great testimony of our living God, who loves us, changes us and never short-change us for what we gave to Him. Bro knows magic, not the magic tricks he entertains us with, but by the words spoken out of love. "I am your spiritual brother." he said to me. What comfort in Jesus! My life with Jesus begins through him in Christ and the magical and powerful word God put in him.

But I don't think he will see this post any sooner? He is too busy to come online I think? I just wanna say that a thousand thanks can't express my appreciation for him. He is God's messenger to me, and a microwave oven for my heart. A vacuum for my thoughts. A vase for my experience with God. A vase because it is used to store and sustain flowers(my spiritual life). The Pain

God. Thank you for being my God. Thank you for always be there when I turn to you. Thank you for being always so strong to back me up when I am weak and in need of you. Whenever in your presence, it is holy, peaceful, joyful, powerful, victorious and fearful. But Lord.. It's painful.. especially tonight and I don't know why. Lord I learn to trust in You, your plan and your timing for my brother. But still I'm so sorry that brother is still living his life apart from you, breaking your heart with his sins and remain unbelieved. I teared in my apology my Lord, on behalf of this brother. Tonight, I am still shedding and this will continue for the reason that brother still remain unsaved. I pray for the day brother to be with me and Richard as a family of Yours. How much I wish brother to feel the love we have for him especially Yours. Lord... Please save him and don't let him die, please don't let us lost him, as I selfishly plead to you to enable brother in Christ and give him a room in your kingdom, I know the truth is that you are more hurt than anyone else. Everytime I pray, I also teared. It never stop. Brother is very dearly to me, just as Richard. As I remember your love, grace and teachings, I kept myself holy and the desire to make myself more holy, only hoping for your blessings. The more the devil hit me, the more I seek for you, my Lord. You promised the day will come when the devil will be crushed under our feet. By then, allow me to contribute with a "small kick" but with all my strength! I know you will never let me go, for this reason I will never let go of you too. I believe in you God. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Words of Edison

Woah been quite some time since I last blogged! Today I wanna share two things. 1) Thanks to my Sir 2) Sharing of Words of Edison. First of all, I want to thank God for my CMO Dr Tan, who plays a big role in encouraging me to do evangelism. It's a blessing to get to know Dr Tan even though he is about to retire in a month's time, I thank God that I get to know him. He is super kind! I pray that for the last few weeks with Dr Tan would be fruitful in fellowship.

I just going to type out what I have wrote in office during my free-time. It's some journal/message to the Lord Jesus Christ. Here it goes in chronological order, but date will be omitted.. becuz it's forgotten =X

Dear Jesus,

I am sorry Lord. It is for my sin, you died on the cross. Yet even today, sin still bring you away from me. You still love me everytime I repent. You always forgive me and be with me. I know that I am not alone when you are my living God. You put your hand on my shoulder, said to me and show me the way to love. You promised to be there for me everytime. As I walk on this earth, I keep your promises to my heart and remind myself about it all the time. Hoping to see you, I kept dearly of your commandments. Everytime I work, I cry for you, for you are my strength to accomplishments. You have set your plans ahead of me. I shall walk in no fear but giving my trust and faith to you. What is it that I can do for you Jesus? For you are the almighty God who needs no fillings from your creation. All I can give is as little as my life. Lord Jesus I cry for you to take my life. I surrender my life, deny myself, to work for your glory in heaven. O'Yes whenever I llook up into the sky, I see your fading image in my heart and you would look down at me and comfort me in your love. I am forever secured in your hand Jesus.

Child of God

Dear Father,

My lovely father... Thank You for taking your child to Heaven. I am loved because the Father has loved me. As I love the Father, Father's love is with me. What is more joyful than being loved by Father? The urge in me drive me to Him, lying on Him in sober. Nothing could be better than this! I promise to be as obedient but the devil is always closer and working around the corner. I cry to Father knowing that the day will come when the devil will be crushed under my feet. Woe to him who separate Father and me, bringing deceptions, distractions and disillusion to me. One day when the child is called upon to Heaven, the deal will finally lost hold of the child. And there will only be love, joy, peace and eternity.

I ask of Father how should I overcome the hardship on this temple. I pray for peace to come on the day I have to leave this body, by force or by nature.

I wish I could do more and in partnership more with my Father. Fellowshipping with Father. He is more than a Father. He is the Saviour, Redeemer, Lord, King, Brother, Friend and Shepherd. He lives in every love. Praise to my Glorious Father in Heaven, who will bless us in more than 6,000 spiritual blessings and grace, peace and love. Amen!

Thank You Lord, you have put me in a safe land. Lord you are wonderful. I Love You! Remember back sometime ago I still do not know how to love you because I have not really know you. Now that you are a big portion of my life, I have already know you. And have know your love. Lord, build me and empower me in faith. Let our love grow stronger and for this reason, the faith will grow too. Till the day when sheep needs to give up his body to meet His shepherd in heaven, faith will bring sheep through. The faith, great faith that come from Lord's undying love. What joy to be in you, O'Lord.

Lord, empower us, my CG and be with us always. We pray for your blessing O'Lord. Come and bless our CG. Let us tell others how great our Lord is. The only One who die for unconditional love. Our redeemer, our Saviour, our King. You are a great King because you laid your life for the nation, which could be part of your Kingdom. O'Lord come may your spirit dwell among us and make us love in Christ. For your love is perfect... so pure. Let me dwell into yours all. Your purity, your love, your faithfulness and your righteousness.

Book of Exodus

Hey people! I found very interesting! In the bible, book of Exodus, Moses are being called by God to bring the Israelites (slave of egypt) out of egypt because God has heard their cries. Moses did many miraculous sign in order to bring Israelites out of Egypt. There is a part where Moses successfully bring them out of Egypt, the King of Egypt Pharaoh's heart was hardened and want to capture them back because there is no one to do the slavery service if Israelites were to leave Egypt. Moses then did a miracle through God's strength and that is to divide the water of red sea and make themselves cross the ocean on dry land when walls of water were at the left and right. When the Israelites passes, God commanded Moses to close up the water and drown every single army with their men, chariots and horses. Guess what? Scientist found the Ancient Chariots and bones of animals and men underneath the Red Sea! Jesus is real! Amen!

Life in Jesus Christ

Hello! Today is the day for service!! Wow I love Jesus! But I am still learning how to put Jesus in every area of my life, and to have faith and trust in Him for every work I wanna accomplish. I also wanna know His heart and have spiritual sight too! Prays for it~ Well this week I have encounter an incident that both God and Satan came together one after another and I felt sad and angry about it. Well.. if you wanna hear about it, continue reading!

There is a colleague in office who have learned about Jesus and he said he believe Jesus is alive! Amen to that! So, the next step is just a step of faith! But he seems to have his unspeakable reason for not taking the step. Sergeant and me were trying to let him understand the importance of taking a step of faith towards Jesus so he may experience Jesus in his life! We were all ready for the sinner's prayer! Suddenly the holy moment came, where all office personnels were lost at the scene and only left three of us. As I pray, I felt the holiness, peace and joy like how I felt during worship in service! I knew God was there! This "Holy Moment" lasted for 10 minutes and soon after, satan came striking us every direction with distractions, one after another.

As I pray again, I learned that God will give every single soul on earth a chance to come to know him. He will plan the special moment which one would come and say "Jesus, I want you to be my Lord and Saviour!" for everyone. I was very sad because I know God is sad when he has planned this moment yet he is being rejected again. I was very angry because of satan!! I have witness God's works and satan's works! It's so scary!

Anyway, ending this, knowing God is not all about logics and reasons, you need to have Faith. Otherwise, why do you have a brain and a heart!? Jesus said to His disciple in the bible, "Now you have seen me and have believed. Blessed are those who have not see me and have believed." And God do not want to appear to our sight of eye because He wants us to have faith! If today, a man came to you and say He is Jesus. I bet you definitely will think he's crazy! Why? People say they want to see to believe, but yet when they see they still don't believe. When the power of healing is happening today, people still don't believe. But in Faith, we believed in God. If one day Jesus is back, for those who have faith will surely know Him. Let's pray~

Dear Jesus, thank you for your graceful blessings and love for the people! I pray to you Lord, you will make room in the heart of men so that they could consume your presence in their life. Everything seems much necessary but Jesus you are the one the people needs. In you, we are blessed. In you, we are saved. In you, we love. In you, we have life. In you, we have everything in life. Lord, may you speak to the people in this time of prayer and they will understand in their heart. Lord, we surrender ourselves to you and so that in you, we have the true life. Lord at this time, as I repeat the names of my beloved brothers in my heart, bless them with the Truth O Lord. In the authority and power of Jesus' name, we pray. Amen!

God's Presence!

Wow! Today I really want to thank Lord for lifting up my spirit! I felt energetic today! I'm ready to be social! Lolx~ Anyway, I am praying that God will transform me in a way that I can be more sociable and tactful with people. So it will be easier to share Christ with people! I shall do my best and if there is any flaws or wrong-doings, please come and tell me ok! Thanks brothers & sisters!!

Alright today I wanna blog about several things I have learned during my unit meeting, lesson conducted by Jeremiah and some stuffs during sermon too! Today is quite a fruitful day to me as I see God has lift me up a step higher! Meaning, He provides me with more knowledge and scope to accomplish as a Christian! Thank Lord! So, what is Truth? By right the Truth is in Jesus Christ and we can only realize the Truth by being Christ-like. But nowadays, people define Truth as what majority could accept and feeds their desires. People are denying the fact and withdrawn. The real Truth in Christ is hard to achieve, but once you have realize it, it gonna be a thousand and million times valuable and joyful than the fake truth. It's hard to achieve because we are sinful by nature! To be pure and Christ-like, we must fight against satan's temptation, which most of us would fall into his trap! Therefore, it's so hard to learn the Truth in Christ! Every sin comes from thoughts, and every thoughts come from sight. In bible, book of Luke 11:34 says "Your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness." Let's pray that our Holy Spirit will intercept all the sinful thoughts in our head and replace them with repentance and prayers to God. C'mon everyone, let us only see the real Truth and acknowledge only the real Truth. Stop satisfying ourselves and give excuses so as to stay in comfort zone. Be courageous! Get out there!

The second thing I learned is about Faith. There are two types of faith. The first type is when we say the sinner's prayer and receive Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. The second faith, which is evolved through the first, is the Faith of Salvation. It comes when we gain biblical knowledge, obedience to God and serve God using the authority given to us. The Faith of Salvation is what we need to be strengthened and stand firm in Christ! One day when someone point a gun at our throat, will u deny Christ? Imagine it realistically and answer yourself honestly. If you will deny Jesus, all your christian journey will be in vain. Therefore, I believe that whenever we wanna do something, we must commit and give in the best!

The most important learning for me today other than learning how to evangelize, is using the authority given by God. As a christian, we have the authority given by our Lord to pray for others, cast away demons, prophesies and ... but how strong are we in the authority? Pastor Jasmine gave a very straight and direct example. No matter in working life or army, we always need to be commanded before we can command others. In army, we must be tekan before we got the power to tekan others. As a christian, we need to live under the authority of Christ in order to receive authority from Him. And gaining authority means more responsibility in serving God and loving people, sacrifice the less Godly commitments to serve God too. For new believers or those who are going to convert, please do not worry of what I have said in the previous sentence. One day when you experience the Grace and Love from Jesus, you will willingly sacrifice your time to serve God. And you will understand your whole life you want to surrender them and only live for God.

Well, for non-believers again, I used to think that it's coward and weak to depends on God for everything and believed in my own strength. I used to think that submitting ourselves to God sounds very devilish. But I tell you this, you think this way because you have lack of understandings. For those who knew me well, I did not have any set backs in life to cause me to rely on Jesus. I go to Jesus by the means of seeking the real Truth and Wisdom. I am not emotionally weakened then I choose Christ. It's He convinced me with the content of Bible. No offense, but there is always a chance for everyone to know about Christ, it's up to us whether we wanna spend the time learning it or arguing it. =) If wanna argue, make sure we have the full understanding of the subject we going to argue too! So we could win ourselves knowledge and wisdom, not for pride.

Long long ago....

Today while waiting for bus to go home, suddenly I had a recollection in deep memories, it's about the very first time I saw the name "Jesus". When I was very young, Jesus already threw an attachment to me. I remembered I used to by looking at the name "Jesus", the first impression was that He is someone who can be fully trusted. I do not know this person, but I know He is someone very kind. Deep in me, I grew a strong yet unsurfaced affection to this name "Jesus". I used to be a good for nothing child, who are neither good in studies nor sports. God bless me in profession in Info-Communication during the course in ITE. Soon, I am good in programming during NYP. Those are the first time I see my worth.

Next, I joined martial art and God helped me excel. Even when managing with political people, He has blessed me with certain intelligence that would suddenly developed in me so that I could survive. Why do I say it's God who gave me? Because politics and strategic subjects were not my cup of tea. I am careless, blur, insensitive and unobservant by nature. But when necessarily, I could react strategically. That was very unlike myself to begin with.

I am sure that God has been planning my conversion long long ago, beginning at the moment I felt the affection in His name. I'm thankful He has planned my journey so well that I do not lost myself and has come to know very sincere and powerful leaders in Hope Church. God has trained me well in becoming who I am today. =)

Lord Jesus, thank you in sacrificing yourself to cleanse our sin with your blood! Yet it's so heart wrenching that these days we still sin due to our sinful nature, and yet you are still loving to forgive the repentance souls. I pray your blessings for your children so that we will be strong to overcome the devil! The strong desire in bringing glory to your name often stomped and demoralized by the devil. Lord, let the Holy Spirit intercept our thoughts for thoughts become words, for words become actions, for actions become habits, for habits become character, for character become destiny. I pray that we will all have a destiny in your glory and kingdom. Lord blesses us and help us in earning the true spiritual value and not the earthly value so we may enter your kingdom! In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!

In Christ

People! We are born with characteristics and shall we not restrict ourselves. You are blessed with wisdom and intelligence to comprehend, to understand, so there may be knowledge. You are planted of emotions to feel, so there may be the Law of Morality. You are created with the full potential to understand and comprehend the Word of God but you mis-use it by the barrier of pride and self. Never will one listen without setting himself humble and in peace and balanced mentally, emotionally and spiritually blessed to receive what is given. The simplicity, but you do not believe, and you believed the complexity. Does complexity appears profound, are proud to acknowledge? Does the presence of logic quarantine Faith? Isn't Faith strengthened in True knowledge? Isn't success of men made by Faith and Knowledge? Does working in both Faith and Wisdom not leads to Truth? Well.. the Truth is simple but the blinds will not see. The ones blinded by Self and earthly matters. Since you choose to shut yourself, no man can access you but your Heavenly Father. Shall you open yourself to Him or otherwise. Shall you make a step for the Saviour will make ten. True joy and happiness are in Christ. Open the eyes in your heart heart, see for yourself!

John 20:29
Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me , you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Lord! In the Glory of your name, bless your people in Christ! So when others seeus, they know they don't hear/see the Holy that we hear/see. Nothing can hide from your light shone from the above by you our Heavenly Father. May your people, in Christ, live in your righteousness to bring glory to your Holy Name, Jesus Christ! Be reminded brothers and sisters, repent every sins immediately and seek the righteous way our Lord will teach us, so you will not fall away. Be honest and do not hide or excuse sins in your thoughts! O'Lord, come help us in not hardening ourselves and be separate with You by sin! So we may at all times live in Your love, teachings and blessings! In Jesus' name, Amen!

The Way, The Truth, The Life.

Praise to our Lord! For the great things He has done for the people! The world must rely on Father to live the way to Truth! Recently there is new inspiration in me. For those who had accessed in my innate self, you see that I am a philosophical person. Brothers and sisters, as much as my wisdom brings me, I would like to share a simple Truth. Jesus says the Father is in Him and He is in Father. Jesus also says that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Let me share what have I learned from this.

In the bible, we learned how Jesus live his life and his Love for the people. We see how Jesus guide His sheeps. We see how Jesus live up to His Father's standard and carry out His will. I believe that Jesus lived his life in perfect righteousness. As a christian, we seek to be more than just a follower of Christ, we want to be his disciple and His children and His light to act in the role of Christ. We learned how to love one another. We learn to give and share. We learn to be selfless. We learn to be in the likeness of Christ. In this manner, we are learning the Way. The Way is of much free and joy! When we live the Way of Christ, we will see the Truth in our life. When we live in the Truth, we do not waste every breath and we do not live our life in vain. Instead, it is of much glory and joy! You will not be the one who say "I am sick of living" because your life will never be plain anymore! It is ever-exciting and much rejoice serving God and glorify His name, Jesus Christ! The Life given through Christ, is the ever-lasting life without being perished! The destination of Salvation Christ!

Dear Jesus! Thank you for praying with authority in your name, Jesus Christ. Lord I pray for the people who seek you be blessed by the Father, and walk with you in their lives. Lord please open the eye of the blinds and Lord you teach them how to see in the Truth, only through the eyes opened by Lord Jesus Christ. Never will they cry, never will they soar, living in the Truth made known by you our Lord, because it is of so much joy! Never will the people walk alone in the darkest part of life for they have you, the almighty God to be with them. Teach us to be your light for the lost soul in darkness. Fear has no business with us upon in darkness as your light of that much bright. In the salvation of Christ, we are freed and saved by Lord's sacrifice. Shall we not hold on much to our life but surrender our life to Him, for the loving God who never forsake us. Praise to God, the Heavenly Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who blessed us as we unite in Christ! Amen!

Why must we be strong in Christ?

Hello! I'm back to live again! Well.. for the past two days I have a very troubled mood. I feel myself collapsing spiritually. Unable to open to people. But today during the prayer walk, I have revived as Holy Spirit once again touch my soul! Today I also realized how important it is to be strong in Christ. As I pray to Jesus our Lord for blessings and guidance, some message appear in my thought. I hear one of the brother say that God will use us and do something that is within our capability, and God will not expect us to do something that is beyond our capability. So I realized that how important is it that we must develop strong character in ourselves, learn and develop different areas of strength. It is so that God can use us in His work! Imagine if you are a boss, I am sure you will only send the men who possess suitable skills to work on suitable missions. As our wisdom never as high as God, we do not know how is He going to work, how and who is He going to use! Therefore, it is important for us to equip ourselves with every necessary abilities so that God can use us more! Maybe if you find that God didn't use you too well, it is probably you do not possess the suitable characteristic for the particular mission! Although it is understandable that we have our uniqueness individually, but lets not make it an excuse to stay in our comfort zone. Let's go all out for Lord! It is our responsibility to bring God's blessing to others and be God's light to the lost soul. Therefore, we must not laze! Brothers and sisters, I will need you guys to help me out in expanding my area of strength too! Let us qualify and fill the necessities of God's work! Let's pray!

Dear Jesus! Thank you for reviving my soul and lighten up my life through the men's conference this morning! Lord I thank you for strengthening us all along. But Lord tonight I want to pray that you will strengthen us in the widest fields of strength! Let us all be qualified in your standard so that you can use us in your project! Lord I pray that every brothers and sisters who pray this prayer will decide in their heart to go all out for you. So that you can equip us with the necessary abilities. And so that we can be strong and influential to the people around us. And so that we can live up to your standard. Lord I pray that you will nurture us in the likeness of Christ! Oh Lord we promise that we will always seek you to empower us in different areas and we will not stay in our comfort zone all the time! Lord I thank you for your presence here tonight listening to our prayers. As we commit our life in Christ, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen!

Prayers

I believe God has the greatest plan for all of us. As an individual, we should be firm in Christ and live a strong believer. I will always expect the best in whatever I do because my Lord gave me everything the best, I must serve Him the best in every ways. Prioritizing God has been my regular practice. I believe in His way and His moral law. Having Lord in every parts of my life finally make me feel complete! Even so, I believe there will be greater challenges ahead that will tempt me away from Lord. I am well prepared and ready for the battle! Lord is a loving God! Lord is a faithful God! Lord is almighty God! Lord is a wise God! I gave myself to Him and live with the Holy Spirit! My commitment to God!

Dear Jesus I wanna pray specifically for a few brothers and sisters... Thank you Lord for giving them to my life. Thank you Lord for the privilege to pray for them...

Pray for Richard:
Lord, bless bro Richard with great strength and wisdom so that he can pass out ERS safely. May be the light in the darkness of lost souls. May your transformation in him advanced and influence the people around Him to seek for goodness in you, Lord. Lord, bless Richard's life to be fruitful through this career of his and prosper Him so he may share his blessings and grow stronger spiritually.. and physically too!

Pray for Kim:
Lord, let Kim seek and find strength in you. Lord may you strengthen her in her faith and inspire her in leading a God prioritized lifestyle. Lord, may you speak to her more as she seeks and listens for you desirably. Lord please fill her hollowness with the Holy Spirit and bring her to life, the life she will live in your name, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pray for Donald:
Lord, thank you for working so closely with bro Donald for so long. Lord, I know that being a leader is not easy. Lord, I pray that God will use him more and work in his life. I have always sense holiness in bro Donald. Lord may you continue to guide him in life especially the next stage of life, the career life. Lord may you bless his working environment with loving and caring people because I feel that he deserve it for his love and care for us is far excellence! During his struggle and stressful time, Lord may you comfort him in your love.

Pray for Alina:
Thank you Lord! For such lovely sis, Alina. Lord I pray that she will grow strong not only in faith, but also in biblically knowledge. May she be blessed in every ways by you Lord for she is such a keen believer and always chasing after you Lord. Lord I pray that sis Alina will grow and became close in the relationship with Christ. May she be guided closely by Holy Spirit in her growth.

Pray for Zhi Jian:
Lord!! This is so exciting! Lord I thank you for inspiring Zhi Jian in coming to know God. I can see that bro Zhi Jian is trying his best to learn. Lord, I pray that you will guide him along and inspire him with the Truth in Lord. I pray that Zhi Jian's heart will be softened and opened so that he will have the chance to experience God's grace. Nothing is more realistic than experiencing God personally! I pray that his faith will grew strong in no time! Praying so much that he will become my spiritual brother which tie thicker than anything, and eternally!

Water Baptism & God's Love

Hello brothers and sisters! Sorry that I haven't been blogging for quite some time yeah?! Well, the good news is Alina, myself and other new believers are baptized in Christ's name! We have died to our old self and revive again as Christ's child. We promise to repent our sin and follow Christ and obey his commandment to the end of our lives or until Jesus came back to earth! Joyful.. indeed joyful! My christian name is Ebenezer. It's a name of the stone that Samuel elevated to celebrate victory over the philistines. It is a Hebrew word that means "the stone of help". This is how I get the name. I prayed to Lord to help me in getting a Christian name and hopefully a name related to my sherpard's christian name (Richard). So the first Christian name I found in google search engine is Ebenezer!

Today I am inspired by my Holy Spirit to write this during my way home from an outing with my lovely brothers and sisters. My sherpard once tell me this: "The brothers we knew that is binded by earthly matters are temporary. But you are my brother that God comes between. For this, our brotherhood is eternal. Because God's love for us is eternal.". He said something like that and honestly I don't really understand. Today, while sitting at prata shop with Zhi Jian and Alina, I explained what is it by being spiritual, and the answer came to me. During my thanksgiving prayer while walking home from where Zhi Jian dropped me, my Holy Spirit inspired me to blog it.

In this world, everyone of us has a personality and conscience. Why do we tremble with fear when we attempt evil deeds like murdering or robbing? And why do we feel joy and happiness when we attempt good deeds like giving or helping? Because there is morality in us. Whether we are a believer or not, this Moral Law still affects us. The value of morality in us measures how spiritual we are. Giving and helping others without recognition, condition or repayment is unconditional love. God teaches us to love others one another like how Jesus love us, unconditionally. No matter what kind of person we are, Jesus still love us. As a Christian, we must shine for God in following Jesus' way of life and love. For my personal experience, I have receive unconditional love from my brothers in church. Especially my sherpard, Richard. I can feel with my heart that he is always monitoring me and my growth. He would help me and love me without repayment or recognition. He has always been there feeling for me. (hope u understand e previous sentence). My other brothers too always share their blessings with others without anything in return. All of us also support one another with emotional needs. Whenever I see my brothers, I feel that they have filled the emptiness in me and Christ came among us. No word can describe this feeling. I always have a very strong desire to meet my brothers and sisters. I really need God and them with me so much! By obeying the commandments of God, we experienced what unconditional love. God is nurturing us to achieve greater Act-Of-Love. In these exchanges, I feel God's love among us which spoke in silent yet loud promise of eternal bonding.

Brothers and sisters, I sincerely thank you guys for filling up the emptiness in me as Christ came among us. I Love you all! I Love you even more, Richard! I Love you even even more, Jesus!

Dear Jesus, today is the day that we, the new believers, chose to die to ourselves and born in Christ. Lord, this is to declare our faith to you, repentance, and promise to obey your commandments as a new born self. We thank you for providing for our needs and guide us in this long journey on this earth, and we know that you will always be with us to guide us along with your great plans for us and our trust in you. Lord, please bless us with the Strength to win against the temptation of satan. Lord, please purify us and teach us the best moral with your way of life. Lord, please allow the Holy Spirit to remind us to always soften and open our heart to you, Lord, so that we could have you dearly in our life. Lord, I also want to pray for the lost soul who have yet to receive you as their Lord and Saviour. Lord, please bless shine the light onto their path and show them the way to the Truth, which is the ultimate joy when we unite in you, Lord. Lord, I thank you for forgiving us of our past sins and continue to guide us and strengthen us to fight against satan's will. Lord, we need you very much in our lives. Lord, thank you for comforting us in your love. Lord, thank you for being here listening to us. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!

Lord, hear my prayers!

Brothers and sisters, please help me pray for Father's presence after reading this post as I really need Him here with me tonight.. together as I pray for you all, the believers all over the world.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ... brothers, sisters and myself, we need you so much in our life. Lord please fill your spirit in us and come to our life, bless us with great faith and live daily with your presence. Inspire our thoughts, speeches and actions through the holy spirit Lord.. For you have the best plan for us and we will abide your words and have our trust in you along the walk to the destination of our life. Please continue to lead us and attach to us daily cuz' we yearn for every moment your holiness. Lord, help us to gain greater faith so that we could do strong prayers. Lord, transform us to the best of we can. Lord, bless us in courage to make disciples of all nations. Lord, bless us in wisdom to see your plans working in our life. Lord, bless us in prosperity so that we could help others through your blessings. Lord, bless us in purity so that we can bring your glory to people by being your light in the darkness of others'. Lord, bless us with a golden heart so that we will love others like how you love us. Lord, tonight I desperately need your presence... I need your utmost attention tonight Lord.. p/s: For those who wonders why, there is no specific reason for me to feel desperate for God's presence. I just feel that I need Him tonight.

My method to exercise prayers

Hello brothers and sisters! Hope you're having a good day! Well.. if it's no good, doesn't matter aright..? We have downs so that we receive the opportunity to pray to Lord and exercise our relationship with him. We have ups so that we show appreciations and gain greater faith to our Lord. It is heart wrenching to learn that sometimes as a Christian, we don't feel God and turn dry... My peers told me that it's pretty normal and encouraged me not to backslide when the time comes...

In the beginning of my walk with Lord Jesus, I am already prepared for this day to come and I'll make sure I don't backslide. At the same time, I begin my faith by focusing a lot in prayers and reading bible. This blog as a sharing medium also play a part in occupying my time speaking about God. You know, I love to talk to people about our God... I just don't know why? Isn't it weird if I keep talking about God to people? haha~ so whenever I feel inspired or I feel like talking about God, I'll be here! Knowing that my words can be seen by you guys all the time! I really feel sense of comfort in me and for that I really want to thank God for making internet possible! And thank to you readers too!

This post, I want to share about my weird habits in exercising our relationship with God. I may have posted something similar before.. but I still hope you guys would read'em..! haha~ So.. what are the reasons are there for us to pray all the time? Every little little things in our life we can pray about it, but sometimes if we keep repeating our prayers, isn't it boring? Recently I have this inspiration about this thought (maybe a bit kiddish), which is the very very basic reason for us to pray about, that is, pray and give thanks to Lord that we're still breathing! What I mean is that.. as you know God created us, give us life and give us breath, the moment when we're conscious and alive, it proved the existence and presence of God. For this, we could give thanks to Him! Whenever we get to pray for others, it is a privilege God gave us.. so we can also pray and give thanks to it! While we're traveling or waiting for friends, we can also pray and give thanks to Lord for the time given to exercise our prayers! Scientist says that we can have up more 10,000 thoughts per day and or every thoughts we have, we could do it as a prayer in a form of sharing with God! For some of you who know me, I practice martial art and especially now that I'm serving NS, I have less commitments, I could spend more time praying to God. If I am brainstorming about how to improve my martial art training, my fight styles and etc, I make it as though I am discussing them with God. A life, a living thing, who has a pumping heart and brain, is a creation of God. Our existence determine the presence of God, therefore every ability (including the usage of a brain) that He gave us, we use them wisely and with God.

Dear dear Lord Jesus... Thank you for inspiring me in writing this post! Lord I thank you for giving me plenty of strength and guidance! O Lord this moment, I want to pray for some specific brothers and sisters... I want to pray for those who find themselves turning dry and lost in touch of your presence Lord. May you fill your spirit in them again and remind them of their First Love with you Lord. The times when you are with us during our struggles. The gifts you gave us to satisfy our needs. The comfort you gave us with your Love. Lord, we understand that your plan for us is the best one and it is far beyond our intelligence. Therefore Lord, we just need to have faith in you, remember how much you love us and trust in you and your great plan. Lord only you know what is best for us and we live our life and destiny in you, Lord. Lord, bless those who are in need of your wisdom to clarify doubts. Remind them that doubts are attributes of faith as doubts are the stepping stone for us to gain greater faith in you. Lord I am also unsatisfied with the amount of faith I'm having, Lord I pray for your blessing once again to strengthen us and our faith. Lord thank you for your presence here listening to our prayers. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen!

Our Lord's Kingdom

Hello brothers and sisters... as I read through the bible today, there is something inspired me to write this post. In the book of Acts, verse 14:22 says this..

"where they strengthened the believers. They encouraged them to continue in faith, reminding them that we must suffer many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God." - said by Paul and Barnabas

I remember the day I receive Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, the moment with Richard praying for me, I can never forget. I do not know how to describe, the moment is full of joys and sense of belonging. As we all know, when we receive Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we are given joy, holy spirit, and a chance of eternal life. Why do I say chance? Because, not all Christians are able to enter God's Kingdom. As the verse said, we must suffer many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God.

A journey of a True Christian is never easy. Not only that we have to struggle within ourselves to achieve God's standard in morality(internal), we also face rejections from many people(external), and it is exceptionally painful when it's from somebody close to us who we love. Therefore, we have brothers and sisters to remind one another that entering the Kingdom of God is hardship and that we must exercise Faith and keep walking our life with Lord. Lord not only gave us only the holy spirit, He has given us precious friends, brothers and sisters who will give us a hand to get up when we fall. So, remember to spend more time praying for our friends, brothers and sisters whenever we can. During the moments of waiting is the best time to pray!

About internal struggles as a Christian, we struggled against temptations which sometimes shaken our Faith. The thought that we think, the words that we say, the actions that we do, the habit and character we develop in ourselves, need to meet God's standard. The truth is that we want to pass God's judgment that badly so that we could be with Lord.

Externally, no matter how far we are in achieving God's standard, we continue to spread the Good News to the people around us. Sharing the words of God often turn ourselves in rejection. Well.. the encouragement is that, our Lord Jesus has been rejected countless times, why should we be afraid of rejection and what is our rejections compared to His?

We're lucky to be born in this little island where God shields upon us. There are much unfortunate brothers and sisters in the foreign countries faced with life-threatening hardship. So, the point is, being a Christian we receive plenty of gifts from our heavenly Father, we thanked him. When Father put us into tests, we reject him. This shouldn't be the way. I just want to say that, Christianity is not about receiving all the good gifts, we must also strengthen our Faith through hardships, and that is the only way. Somehow, the greatest gifts are given only by overcoming hardships. Fellow brothers and sisters, I will pray for each and everyone of you who sincerely want to walk your life with Christ, where tears and joys are shared.

Dear Jesus, you are the life and you are the way.. you are the model we yearn to learn from.. you are the greatest for you are the only one who willingly crucified on the cross to set us free. Not only you did not hate the people of sinful nature, you prayed to your Father for his forgiveness and mercy upon us. Lord I want to thank you and this is what we can never repay you. We want to give you our lives so that you could work through us, Lord. Lord, I pray for great wisdom you may grant us to help us understand the true way of Life and Christianity. Lord, I pray for the powerful faith you may help us grow in a step closer to you. Lord, I pray for acceptance of all your people so that they can receive your guidance closely and used by you wisely. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Appreciation

Today will be a random post.... haha~ I'll like to share about something I read from a book call "Language of God" and certain questions in this book will help new believers like myself to understand God better. The first question will be.. "If our God is a loving God, why are there innocent people who suffers?". Probably you already knew the answer if you are strong in spiritual growth and that's really good! Okay so according to the above question, this is the story..

Story: (short cut version, this lady is the daughter of the author)
There is one a stormy night, a house was broken into by a man while the owner, an innocent and righteous young lady is doing her research onto chinese medication. This man who broke into the house, pointed a knife at the young lady and forced himself in her. (Why God didn't let the lightning strike on that man or talk to his conscience to prevent this tragedy?) Years later, thank God that this young lady was blessed with great recovery emotionally. And not only that she has grown closer to God, she also became counselor for many rape victims and saved their lives. God did used her! (end of story)

At this point, I thought that why God would use us in such a hard way? Please read on to the answer that I got. This is because God has given us free will and often we abuse it to sinful acts and impurity therefore create sufferings unto ourselves. In Genesis v3:17-19, God says to Adam, "Since you listened to your wife and ate from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat, this ground is cursed because of you. All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it. It will grow thorns and thistles for you, though you will eat of his grain." Therefore, we cannot blame God for our sufferings.

On the other hand, to think about it that if our lives have not been full of obstacles and troubles, our relationship with God might not be as close as now. It is through our hardship that we learn to appreciate God's love and what He has given us. Through this we strengthen our relationship with God.

To elaborate further, imagine our lives are wealthy, healthy, no pain, no sufferings and having all the good things in life, we may be thankful to God in the beginning but due to our sinful nature, we will soon become unappreciative to God. He knew our weakness therefore He has a better plan, greater than our own, which we may not comprehend and understand from it. I believe that God will not choose to harm us, He will always help us and lessen the harm.

Another simple and short story told by my brother, Jeremiah. :
There is this man, who had disaster fell on him. Thousands of rocks and stone came crashing on him so he started to pray to God. As he felt the pain due to the enormous of stone rapidly falling on him, he blamed God.. "God, God, why did you help me?" and suddenly he heard a voice from the upper land "Yes I did I did, please hang on for awhile, it may be a little painful!". As the man turn and looked, God is holding on all the big rocks while only the small stones slipped off and hit the man.

Dear Jesus, you are our loving God and you set the greatest example as being a holy person. For that all of us yearn and desire to be like you. So God, I wanna thank you for giving me all the loving, caring and knowledgeable brothers and sisters who never cease to guide all new believers including myself in knowing the bible and You better. This is the opportunity you gave us to grow and walking closer with you Lord. Lord, I want to thank you for every plans you have for us. Lord, I want to pray for my brothers and sisters and myself, to be humble before you and be patience for the answers come to clear our doubts. We shall not conclude harshly as we know that God you work in wonders and did it at a most suitable timing. Lord I pray for all brothers and sisters that we will all grow spiritually and walk closer to you in your plans for us. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!

Encouragement

Brothers and sisters.. how many times have you prayed so hard for something but yet it didn't happen and instead it goes the reverse way? You start to lose faith in Jesus at this point? Don't be my dear.. For our wisdom is never as high as God, many things happen for certain reasons that we might not understand. Remember that God know what is the best for us. If we are truly his children, there is no way He will want to hurt us, He will only choose to hurt us the lesser. You may also question yourself that are you living up to the standard of Jesus? If you have your prayers result in a reverse manner and have lack of wisdom to understand why is that so, I encourage you to continue improve yourself by praying to God to transform you into the kind of person you will best be. Not all Christians who receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour will go to heaven in 100%. We have the sinful nature that is consistently separating us from God. We must be in a constant struggle to reach up for God's standard for truly being His child and disciple. Before we start to blame God, please question ourselves how much have we done for God? At this point, you may choose to lie to yourself and avoid the whole fact and situation that your prayer result in reverse and you fall short of God's glory, but when the time comes, your doings will still be revealed and you have to face the punishments.

When you think that you fall short of God's glory, do not feel inferior as we are all the same. But we must discipline ourselves and constantly pray to ask for the strength we need, disciple, determination, wisdom and whichever necessary, in order to help us to shine for God.
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you
So, brothers and sisters, pray to God sincerely and you shall experience the miraculous side of your gifted new life. Only.. only.. only.. when you have finally experienced it, you will love Him and feel God's presence in your heart. For those who are not yet a Christian, I tell you this..

Christianity is to have a personal relationship with God. When you have felt God's love and presence in your life, you can never deny or reject it. Nobody can reject His love when they have received. It is only when you have not give yourself a chance to know God and have not felt His love, you will live away with it and remain unbelieved.

There is also another group of people I believe, that you want to give yourself a chance to know God, but you find yourself have no one around you that can relate it to you, or you find that their words are not convincing and unreliable. You might want to give it another chance and come to me. Because I am one living example who been through that stage. I searched for the answer for 6 months. I am able to find it because I never give up and I'm proud that I did the right thing and now I am the child of God. =)

Dear Jesus, I thank you for bringing all of us, brothers and sisters together so that when whoever is down, there is someone there for us and we never feel lonely. I thank you for coming among us and spread your love among us. Father in heaven, I pray so much for those who have been feeling down and start losing faith at this time, due to bad experiences happened in their life. May their holy spirits guide them and remind them of the Fatherly Love and let it remain in them to comfort them at this time. Holy spirit to inspire them to pray and seek for God's presence at this time so that Jesus can be involve in their life and walk with them and fill them we spirit and love. Father, I pray and ask for the wisdom that we need to understand your purposes so as we could do things right. Thank you father for giving me the sensitivity to feel your presence so strong. Please let it continue so I shall have a chance to inspire somebody us. May God use me to work on others as well. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Loving Jesus

Dear brothers and sisters, I am sure that we have often say "I Love You Lord" during our worship to God weekly in our church. I'm sure that God loves us definitely but I'm not sure if we love our God truthfully. To love God, we must first identify him.. know about him.. understand his love for us. Just like how would you love someone that you don't even know? True faith comes from the true understanding towards our God, and then we know how to love Him. If you truly love God, would you even think of going against God? If you truly love someone, you will never want to go against him/her. You want to be there with him/her. It goes the same for God. Our love for God should be magnificent than everything. For this love, we shall not go against His teachings and we shall not defy and deny Him. Ask yourself, if someone point a gun right at your head and if you admit you are the child of God, he will shoot you. At this point, how firm have you stand with Jesus? Would you still express your love for God? You must be questioning me the same right? I'll tell you the truth, I don't know. But that will be my goal and minimum standard for Faith and Love for Jesus Christ.

Dear Jesus, we thank you for your presence every time we pray. For we're all just a tiny part of Your master piece, we sincerely seek you in our life. God please help us to know you better and draw ourselves closer to you. Please soften our hearts so that we could sense you at all times. For attaining your acceptance to us, we exercise your words and follow your commandments in fulfilling ourselves with a pure heart, just to see you when the day comes. We long for the first sight of you Lord.. Please bless brothers and sisters with a pure and softened heart so that we could connect to you at all times. May our love with you strengthen each day, each hour, each minute, each second and each moment. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Sin

Brothers and sisters, today I want to share with you guys about how I pray and repent for my own sin. Whenever we sin, be it lust, selfishness, greeds, arrogance or others.. we should always seek Jesus for forgiveness. The bible says sin is the barrier between God and us because we did not live up to God's standard and glory. I know the battle with satan is difficult, therefore we need to seek God's help. Simply mumble or run the prayers in our mind casually is not going to help. This is what I do that I wanna share...

Go to a spot where you can look up into the sky. Tell yourself to soften your heart at this moment, remember how Jesus sacrifice himself through the torment and pain? For each sin contributes in Jesus' pain. It's our sin that causes Jesus' death. So now... seek strength from God so that we could handle satan and be the true disciple and children of God. Ask our holy spirit to remind us about Jesus' pain the next time when we are about to sin. Then keep your mind where it is now and think about Jesus for a minute or more.. Think about the great things that happen in your life and that are given by Him. For the gratitude and appreciations, we promise to sin no more.

Dear Jesus, I thank you for giving us all the great things in life, and support us in such a peaceful and safe land call Singapore. As we live in the peace, we often forgot and neglected the wellness you put us in. There are so many others who are less fortunate than us but why? Because Jesus you have loved us and keep us safe and loved. For this, brothers and sisters, we must remind ourselves about all the good things we received and never forget to thank God and appreciate them. And not be selfish to share the good things we receive from God with others, so as to spread God's love. What is given to us came from God, that we cannot receive them by ourselves. For this, we shall not greed because each gift is a bonus. For everything come through God, we will not be arrogant and proud to claim the credits to ourselves. Instead, be humble and thank God and everyone who helped us in the achievements. Amen!

Healing

Today while on my way to photocopy the IC size photo, I prayed for the recovery of my hand, as it hurts. Tomorrow is my Police Officer interview and I do not want my performance in physical test to go down. I have consulted 3 different physician for nearly 3 months while having this injury on my right wrist. How can I get healed within 24 hours to my interview? I prayed.. and prayed..

Upon reaching the photo shop at 2:45pm, they're closed and having lunch. What a weird timing for lunch? So I sat at a bench, then I continued to pray with my eyes closed. When I open my eyes, I saw Ma Guang clinic. Something tells me that I should go in and do the therapy. So I went and I sms-ed some of my bros and my darling to pray for my recovery. Pray for Jesus to heal me through this therapy session. After the therapy, my hand actually recovered alot! Not complete yet but left about maybe say 20%? It's a great improvement! I'm so glad that God answered me on time! And thanks to my bros too! Currently the pain had eased and the only situation that triggers the pain is in full stretched twist of the wrist! I can do a normal push up now! Isn't it great? Oh my!

Dear Jesus, I thank you for answering the prayers of mine along with my brothers and darling. You have it answered just in time Lord. May you bless my brothers and sisters in obtaining greater spiritual growth! May brothers and sisters feel your presence with us and having you closer to our heart and soul. Lord, please guide us in working on the ultimate mission as Christians. May our knowledge, faith and feeling stood firm with you Lord. In Jesus name, Amen!

Living With Jesus

Dear brothers and sisters.. I just want to remind you that.. in our daily life, we pray to God and ask for assistance from the Holy Spirit, sometimes we didn't get any response at all. Maybe we're not sensitive towards God and how He works, so we're unable to receive the message He wanted to tell us. When something happen, maybe Holy Spirit would drop some thought into our mind. If you think it's coincidence, then you might just missed the message. Nothing is coincidence because God works in wonders and God's Grace is hard to spot and receive that's why we have to take every hint and pray for it.

Dear Jesus, I pray for the brothers and sisters who are viewing this blog will be more sensitive to You and able to feel your presence. May they work with you closely in their life so that they could understand You, Jesus. Put you in every aspects of their life so you could guide them. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!

Good News!

Past Oldest Postings:

Once I prayed "God if you are real, please guide me back to you again if I have been drifted away from you. No matter how reluctant I am, please guide me back." And soon I got to Civil Defense for my National Service and I am really disappointed. I wanted to sign-on to SAF initially but I actually applied for Police Force as a Junior Officer two weeks before my enlistment to SCDF. So yeah, I'm totally lost when I receive the NS letter indicate my enlistment in SCDF.

When I get into SCDF, I got to know someone call Richard Ng. Somehow, Richard wanted to go ERS but wasn't selected for it. For my case, I am selected for the ERS but I walk out from the interview because I have no interests. Soon Richard and I become friends and we start going to Camp together with another Richard's (Richard Heng) family car. We spoke about martial art and to learned that Richard Ng is interested in it. So I offer to share with him my training. We start to become close and one night, I saw Richard reading a bible. I casually asked him to bring me to his Church and he did. What an insincere request from me..

So I went and the moment we start praising the Lord, immediately I remembered all the prayers I prayed and to realize that it came true! Many decisions that I made was really casual and eventually brought me to Hope Church. Then I finally understand why I am suppose to go to SCDF. I go SCDF to meet Richard so I could come to Hope Church. Soon after I sincerely received Christ as my Lord and Saviour on 23rd August 2008. After such holy moments, SCDF offer us to sign on to ERS which what Richard hoping for! It's so miraculous in the whole stretch of incidents! I have my prayers fulfilled!


Today God answered my another prayer which been long. I received notice from SPF that I have been short-listed for the position of Police Junior Officer. I am called down to Police Force Career Centre for interview on this coming friday 8:15am =) I applied for the Police Officer position 2 weeks before my NS. The staff said that it's too late and ask me to re-apply again 2 months before my ORD. I am rejected from the application and now I am offered for the post again. Isn't this miraculous?

I mentioned in the past posting about why I didn't have any response from my prayer about my career. The conclusion was that I am to put God before me in every aspect of my life so He could show me the direction. And I also mentioned that Richard got his opportunity in ERS as regular. I felt that God really put us together to meet in SCDF. After Richard has brought me to Jesus, both of us have our desired path opened after all. Really.. Thank God.

Dear Jesus you have been so responsive to me. I appreciate and I wanna thank you for all you have done for me so far. Please bless your children.. In Jesus name, Amen! =P

Hannah's Message

I want to blog about something happen on Saturday, 13 Aug 08. My mum was back home in the morning to visit Bobby and me. While having the breakfast she bought for me, mum casually asked me about if my Aunt(Dad's 2nd elder sis) contacted me.. Then I told mum that aunt invited dad to the church and I brought dad there. Immediately she said "这么没智慧。被人家牵着鼻子走。" and I was rather disappointed because the rejection towards Jesus announced.

I went to see doctor again and I took 291 (yellow board) from tampines interchange to somewhere near Temasek Poly. In the bus I walk all the way to the rear and sat at the last seat. Then I saw this message written on the seat(vandalism!!).. here it goes:

I pray for you today and everyday,
That if you hear God's voice today,
Your heart will not be hardened.
Be the son of light for God,
Expose all the darkness
And live in the righteousness of God. - Hannah

Thanks Hannah! What I am trying to share is that.. As long as you have Faith, whenever you're down, Jesus will not leave you alone. For my case, I have experienced several times when I feel disappointed towards Jesus, something will definitely happen on the very day to cheer me up! My Shepard Richard reminded me this.. "Only those with the heart of child can attach with Jesus." This is because, when we grow up, we tends to use our brain more than our heart. Ask yourself, how many friends can you get out there when you start your working life. Honestly, with Jesus, the back-stabbing environment doesn't bother me at all. I only believe in Jesus and that His Love can change all things.

Dear Jesus, I thank you for planning on such a fine day today. I want to thank you for the support and guidance you have dropped on me through the day and everyday to keep me on the track in order to answer to my past prayers, Love, Purity and Faith. Jesus I want to pray for my brothers and sisters, Richard, Donald, Jeremiah, Tobias, Moses, Jeremy, Kimberley, Alina and Hannah for their wellness in the coming days ahead. May their career/studies go well with your support and blessings. For those bros or sis who yet to receive Faith and Relation with you, please help them in experiencing the Grace of God's work. Jesus, I also pray that this coming saturday I am able to bring one friend down to the church as a chance for him to know you. Hoping for more people would come to know you and receive you as their Lord and Saviour so as to touch their life with your Love and Affections. I'm so glad that I have such a noble and loving God. In Jesus' name, I pray.. Amen!

Love Shared, Joy Doubled.

Lord, I thank you for helping me so much in becoming the kind of person you want me to be. This week I have felt great changes. Finally I can fully forgive the people I hated. It's a very nice feeling to live without any ugly emotion within myself. You know I realized I liked to talk to people about Jesus.. When I have him with me, joy is with me. When I share with someone else about him, my joy doubled. I think sharing with our brothers or sisters about God's Grace will be a great session for remembering who is God and appreciate whatever that God has helped and gave us. I mentioned about my dad has become a Christian.. As my dad is not a very literally educated person, he does not have the opportunity to read the bible at the moment.. But I realized that he listened to Christian songs every night while re-sorting his life and thought at the same time. I am really grateful to the Lord that giving me such a miraculous blessing! Why is it so miraculous? You know my dad once a "tiao dang" buddhist. "tiao dang" in dialect means those who invite spirit to enter their body then help others to convey "holy message". For him who once an extreme towards buddhism has find Love and Peace in Lord Jesus.. What Grace..!

Tomorrow will be another exciting day because it's SERVICE DAY! When and where I could meet up and spend time with my brothers.. Jeremiah, Donald, Richard, Moses, Tobias and lots more.. Miss you guys man! Oops, you guys will only know this if you read this blog.. which currently at the moment, nobody knew this URL yet.. =X Well.. I'm not a psycho who speak to myself.. Because these posts and blog is created for my Lord Jesus himself.. When there's no one accessing this site, Jesus will. =)

Thank you so much Jesus whom crucified himself to save us and set us free. And I believe Freedom is Power. Yesterday's Gift

Yesterday, in the early afternoon, I was so disappointed that Lord did not answer to two of my prayers. First is my career, second is my injured right wrist. I thought Lord is not going to heal me and I went to see the professional chinese doctor at tampines. After that I went to service. The first thing we did when the service start was to pray for the brothers and sisters who has been unwell. And my brothers prayed for my injury! It's a surprised that suddenly we were to do this! I have a little hope again that Lord is responding to me again!

Later on during the sermon, I listened and I finally realized that why Lord has not respond to my prayer for a direction in future career! Comprehended from the preaching, I have not make God's presence in every aspects of my life so that God could make me partner with him and work on my life! This was the answer that why my prayer is delayed! Oh my hope is back again thanks to Hope Church haha~ Now, all I have to do is put God before every aspects of my life so that I will live my life through God.

After the service, I received the gift of holy spirit which enable me to speak in tongue with the help from Bro Jeremiah, Bro Moses and Bro Tobias. I took around 7 minutes to feel the desire and mumbled. I Thank you my Lord Jesus for bringing the gift of Holy Spirit to me. =) Praise the Lord!

Receiving Christ

23 August 2008 is my special day. It's the day where I sincerely receive Lord Jesus in my life. It is at Hope Church where I receive Christ. I have a new life and my spirit has reborn. God is amazing in his work. Every prayer I did, it all came true. Long ago, I went to the Chapel of Resurrection over at Potong Pasir and I was reluctant to go. But I tell myself "Why not give myself a chance to know God. If I still didn't believe, I could simply stop going to church next time." so I went. I didn't like that place.. Their culture totally turn me off.. But I still went a few times and I eventually receive Christ for the first time at the second visit. Although it wasn't sincere but I cannot explain why did my feet bring myself forward to receive Christ. So how does everything get started? Here it goes...

I tried to pray, but I don't know who I'm praying to. I just say "Somebody up there... bla bla bla". Eventually, I really did feel that someone is listening.. I really did feel that someone is acknowledging my prayer. I cannot explain why. So I prayed, "God if you are real, please get me a church where I feel at ease and where you will reveal your presence to me.". I tried my best to keep my prayer constant every night but soon I start to forget about it. Once I prayed "God if you are real, please guide me back to you again if I have been drifted away from you. No matter how reluctant I am, please guide me back." And soon I got to Civil Defense for my National Service and I am really disappointed. I wanted to sign-on to SAF initially but I actually applied for Police Force as a Junior Officer two weeks before my enlistment to SCDF. So yeah, I'm totally lost when I receive the NS letter indicate my enlistment in SCDF.

When I get into SCDF, I got to know someone call Richard Ng. Somehow, Richard wanted to go ERS but wasn't selected for it. For my case, I am selected for the ERS but I walk out from the interview because I have no interests. Soon Richard and I become friends and we start going to Camp together with another Richard's (Richard Heng) family car. We spoke about martial art and to learned that Richard Ng is interested in it. So I offer to share with him my training. We start to become close and one night, I saw Richard reading a bible. I casually asked him to bring me to his Church and he did. What an insincere request from me..

So I went and the moment we start praising the Lord, immediately I remembered all the prayers I prayed and to realize that it came true! Many decisions that I made was really casual and eventually brought me to Hope Church. Then I finally understand why I am suppose to go to SCDF. I go SCDF to meet Richard so I could come to Hope Church. Soon after I sincerely received Christ as my Lord and Saviour on 23rd August 2008. After such holy moments, SCDF offer us to sign on to ERS which what Richard hoping for! It's so miraculous in the whole stretch of incidents! I have my prayers fulfilled!

Another prayer that came true today.. 07 September 08, that my Dad received Christ! Last week I brought my dad to church for the first time, and it was the church that I am uncomfortable with. We went there and it was raining heavily! I prayed to Lord Jesus for the rain to stop so we don't miss the sermon.. but the rain continues.. We took a cab and get into the church late and I suppose the service is over. But guess what!? The service somehow started late and we're on time! Oh praise and thank the Lord! I also prayed that Lord could help me in making the service more comfortable for dad and be there to guide dad in knowing Lord Jesus. Somehow dad doesn't feel comfortable as well on the first visit. But when I reached home, dad somehow say he will go to church again next week (which is today) by his own! I really cannot understand how and why he will be willing to go to that church again and alone! He said he like the singing we did when we praise the Lord. And I prayed to Lord Jesus that Lord could enter dad's life and change his life for the better. Give dad guidance and lead a meaningful life from now onwards and dad received Christ today. Praise the Lord!

Each day, each prayers that came true.. My faith grew stronger and stronger. That is no reason I will deny my Lord. There is no reason for too much coincidence. There is no reason to doubt the response from Lord. Thank you Lord Jesus for always be there to listen to my prayer. =)
